Pallikaranai marshland is the only surviving wetland ecosystem of the city and is among the few and last remaining natural wetlands of South India.

How to reach:
There are multiple places of the same marsh land -
- From Chennai- Tiruvanmiyur(OMR)- Thoraipakkam- Jain college -Take a right - Chennai one IT park- Marshland
- Another one is near sholinganallur. (Shollinganallur - Medavakkam road)- Opposite to IT Park
